Solemnization of Marriage

Have your marriage solemnized by the Mayor of Mapandan. Free service for couples with a valid marriage license.

Description

The Municipal Mayor of Mapandan is authorized to solemnize marriages under the Family Code of the Philippines. Couples must first obtain a marriage license from the Municipal Civil Registrar. The Mayor's Office schedules the ceremony and the Mayor administers the marriage rites. A Certificate of Marriage is prepared and signed by the Mayor, the couple, and witnesses.

Requirements

  • Valid Marriage License (from Municipal Civil Registrar)
  • Valid Government-issued IDs of both parties
  • Two (2) witnesses with valid IDs

Procedure

  1. Present the Marriage License and valid IDs to the Mayor's Office.
  2. Staff schedules the solemnization date and time.
  3. Appear on the scheduled date with two (2) witnesses.
  4. The Mayor administers the marriage rites and signs the Certificate of Marriage.
  5. Receive the signed Certificate of Marriage.
