Description
The Population Office provides pre-marriage orientation and counseling to couples planning to get married as required before obtaining a marriage license. The session covers family planning methods, reproductive health, responsible parenthood, and RA 9255. A Certificate of Pre-Marriage Counseling is issued upon completion, which is a prerequisite for marriage license application.
Requirements
- Valid Government-issued ID of both parties
- Community Tax Certificate (Cedula) from Treasury Office
Procedure
- Visit the Population Office with your partner and present valid IDs.
- Staff records the couple's information and schedules the session.
- Attend the pre-marriage orientation and counseling session.
- Receive the Certificate of Pre-Marriage Counseling upon completion.
