Description
The Solo Parent ID is issued by the MSWDO to qualifying solo parents as mandated by RA 8972 (Solo Parents' Welfare Act of 2000). Holders are entitled to benefits including flexible work arrangements, educational assistance for children, and health care privileges. The MSWDO assesses eligibility using the solo parent intake form. Processing includes a 6-month assessment period before the ID is issued.
Requirements
- Barangay Certificate
- Birth Certificate of minor child/children under custody
- 1x1 picture
Procedure
- Register at the MSWDO and submit your requirements.
- Staff will check and verify your submitted documents.
- Submit your requirements and undergo assessment using the solo parent intake form.
- After 6 months of assessment, the Solo Parent ID is recorded in the logbook and issued.
