Occupancy Permit

Get an occupancy permit from the Mapandan MEO. RA 11032 processing times: 3–20 working days.

Description

An occupancy permit certifies that a building or structure has been completed and inspected in accordance with the approved plans and the National Building Code. It is required before any building may be legally occupied or used.

Requirements

  • Xerox copy of approved building permit
  • Fire safety inspection certificate (from BFP)

Procedure

  1. Request a final inspection from the Municipal Engineering Office.
  2. Submit the as-built plans and inspection report.
  3. Obtain a fire safety inspection certificate from the BFP.
  4. Submit all documents to the MEO for review.
  5. Receive the occupancy permit upon approval.
