Description
The MSWDO provides care and protection services for Children in Conflict with the Law (CICL) and children under difficult circumstances. Services include surveillance, rescue and recovery, counselling, referral to PNP, temporary shelter, and custody care. The MSWDO coordinates with the PNP, hospitals, and Prosecutor's Office as necessary.
Requirements
- Birth Certificate (PSA)
- Medical Certificate / Medico-legal report
- Police Blotter Report
Procedure
- Register at the MSWD Office. Staff will refer the client for intake.
- Discuss the problem and provide relevant information. Staff interviews and gathers data.
- Staff refers the client to other agencies (PNP, Hospital, Prosecutor's Office) if necessary.
- Staff prepares draft of Social Case Study Report and follows up with home visits and counseling.
- Present results. MSWDO prepares and submits Social Case Study Report.
