Description
The Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office (MENRO) receives and processes complaints related to environmental violations, pollution, illegal dumping, and other environmental concerns in Mapandan. The client submits a complaint with supporting evidence, and the MENRO investigates, verifies the complaint, and takes appropriate enforcement action. The MENRO coordinates with the PNP, Barangay officials, and other agencies as needed.
Requirements
- Written complaint describing the environmental violation
- Evidence of violation (photos, videos, or other documentation if available)
- Valid Government-issued ID of the complainant
Procedure
- Submit the written complaint with evidence and valid ID to the MENRO Office.
- MENRO staff receives and evaluates the complaint (5 min).
- MENRO verifies the complaint through site inspection or investigation (varies).
- MENRO takes appropriate enforcement action and coordinates with concerned agencies.
- Follow up with MENRO for the status of the complaint.
