Description

The Municipal Assessor's Office conducts appraisal of newly declared untitled real property to determine its assessed value for taxation purposes. Untitled properties are appraised based on the land area, market value, location, and any improvements. The assessed value becomes the basis for computing real property taxes. The process includes verification of ownership documents, site inspection, and computation of assessed value.

Requirements

  • Valid Government-issued ID of the owner
  • Proof of ownership (Deed of Sale, Deed of Donation, Tax-Exempt Certificate, or Inheritance documents)
  • Blueprints or sketches of the property (if available)
  • Barangay Certification of ownership

Procedure

  1. Submit all required documents to the Assessor's Office.
  2. Staff receives and reviews the application (5 min).
  3. Assessor conducts site inspection and appraisal (15 min).
  4. Staff computes the assessed value and prepares the Tax Declaration (5 min).
  5. Pay ₱700 at the Treasury Office and claim the Tax Declaration (5 min).
