Description
The Municipal Assessor's Office conducts appraisal of newly declared titled real property to determine its assessed value for taxation purposes. The appraisal covers the land area, market value, and any improvements. The assessed value becomes the basis for computing real property taxes. The process includes review of the title, site inspection, and computation of assessed value.
Requirements
- Transfer Certificate of Title (TCT) or Condominium Certificate of Title (CCT)
- Valid Government-issued ID of the owner
- Deed of Sale or other proof of acquisition
- Blueprints or sketches of improvements (if any)
Procedure
- Submit all required documents to the Assessor's Office.
- Staff receives and reviews the application (5 min).
- Assessor reviews the title and conducts site inspection if needed (15 min).
- Staff computes the assessed value and prepares the Tax Declaration (5 min).
- Pay ₱700 at the Treasury Office and claim the Tax Declaration (5 min).
