AICS Assistance

Description

Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situations (AICS) is a government program that provides financial assistance to individuals and families facing emergencies such as medical crises, bereavement, or other unforeseen circumstances. In Mapandan, AICS assistance is administered by the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO) in coordination with the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD).

Requirements

• Barangay certification stating the resident’s crisis situation
• Medical certificate (for medical-related assistance)
• Death certificate (for burial assistance)
• Valid government-issued ID
• Case study or social worker assessment

Procedure

1. Secure a barangay certification from your barangay captain or kagawad.
2. Gather all required documents (medical certificate, death certificate, etc.).
3. Visit the MSWDO office and submit your application with supporting documents.
4. Wait for the social worker’s assessment and case study.
5. Receive financial assistance upon approval of your application.
